Mr. Peter Zack Bernard has elevated himself to become amongst  the most

skillful and prominent steel drum players in the South Florida area today.

He started in 1983 as a professional keyboard player with the Spice Roots Reggae band, and two years later formed his own band “Zero Crew”.

He decided to go solo as a Steel drum player in 1995; and managed to stay active, performing and traveling throughout Florida, the Caribbean, Canada and Europe.  He spent four years in Orlando, Florida (2001 - 2004) performing at events for Disney World’s famous Bob Marley Restaurant and Jimmy Buffett’s “MargaritaVille” Restaurant. One of the most exciting highlights of his steel drum career was performing an opening steel drum act with the world renown and famous group “Earth Wind & Fire” in Charleston, South Carolina.  He also performed for TV’s most famous Financial Adviser, Suzy Orman, who took part in his performance.  

Another exciting event of his career was inviting Jazz Flute player Nestor Torres on stage during one of his many performances in the Florida Keys.

Lauderdale and Orlando areas.

Zack enjoys pleasing his audience with his style of playing, his selections of music and a constant interaction to the audience with his performance. Zack’s passion, desire and main focus is to always incorporate his Caribbean musical influence with the Jazz musical influence which he learned here in America and still is learning. He love teaching and educating others how to develop the art of playing this wonderful God given instrument called the  Steel Drum or sometimes referred to as the Steel Pan, or simply Pan. Here in Port Saint Lucie, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and some of the neighbouring cities such as the Florida Keys, Tampa, Orlando and other cities, the Steel Drum is a very popular instrument recommended and used for many occasions and venues. It is very appropriate for Weddings, Private Parties, Conventions, Concerts etc. and can be heard and seen in many restaurants and hotels throughout the State of Florida. 

Peter Zack Bernard is ranked among the top steel drum players in Florida today. 

This instrument (The Steel Drum) originated in the Caribbean is considered the new sound of Florida in it’s entertainment world.
